KNETILLUSTRATION  Franz Kafkas - Die Verwandlung / Metamorphosis

Im folgenden stelle ich Ihnen nun meine Arbeitsweise kurz vor:

 Bei der plastischen Illustration baue ich in detailreicher Kleinarbeit ein Szenenbild. Ich modelliere die Figuren aus FIMO (eine brennbare Modelliermasse), nähe die Kleider und gestaltete die Kulisse und Accessoires wie Möbel, Lampen und Geschirr aus Holz und Styropor. Dann werden die Szenen fotografiert - teilweise auch Figuren und Hintergrund getrennt voneinander. Danach überarbeitete ich diese Aufnahmen mit Adobe Photoshop.

For the plasical Illustration the figures are modelled in FIMO (a modelling medium). Paying attention to detail the backdrop is designed, complete with accessoires such as furniture, lamps and crockery in wood and expanded polystyrene. Afterwards the scenes are photographed - sometimes keeping figures and background seperate from each other - and then the images are processed in Adobe Photoshop.
